The Farnborough airshow 2024 took place from July 22 to 25: as a photographer, videographer and editor with Airways Magazine, I went to the show with the Airways team to cover the latest news in the aviation sector.
Virgin Atlantic
At the Airbus chalet, we were able to discover the cabin of Virgin Atlantic's latest Airbus A330neo, named “Ruby Rebel”.
JetBlue
At the Airbus show, we were also able to visit the latest Airbus A220 received by JetBlue, featuring their new economy cabins with “Even more space” seats at the front, offering extra legroom.
British Airways new cabin interior
At the show, British Airways presented its brand-new economy cabin on A320neo aircraft, with a new business class divider at the front of each middle-row seat for greater comfort and connectivity.
Qatar Airways & Qatar Executive
Qatar Airways displayed one of their Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners with amazing business class seats, and economy class seats. Qatar Executive also displayed their first Gulfstream G700.
Embraer
Embraer was out in force with the presentation of the very first E-190 freighter. The E2 family was also on show, with the “Tech Eagle”. On the military side: the KC-390 Millenium and the Tucano
Defense flying display
Numerous military aircraft performed low passes or flight demonstrations, including the incredible Red Arrows patrol, F-15QA, Boeing P-8 Posedion, B-52 and many more.
